Vertical gold-colored mullions make the building shining and interesting. The deep framing of the windows shades the interior, protecting it from direct sunlight, all the while providing transparency and a good view of the inside. At night, the balconies of the five boxes are illuminated, creating a nice transition between the white of the interior and the darkness outside. On the lower level, light seeps out of the interior through its vertical elements, creating another elegant transition.
The south facade features a regularly arranged sun shading system. For the lighting design, each shade is used as a lit panel pixel making it a kind of lowresolution media facade. Because of the depth and width of the shading elements, custom-designed LED modules were incorporated into the elements. Installation and location of the linear LED modules were carefully studied so that the LED fittings were not visible from inside. For festive events the fa?ade can be programmed according to the theme of that particular event so that various dynamic lighting effects may attract people to the building. As a media fa?ade, visual information can also be displayed, such as the CEIBS logo. This media fa?ade attracts interest and the attention of viewers; during festive events, as they dance to the music, they are accompanied by the dynamic pictures displayed without feeling any uncomfortable glare even at a close distance.
