Gmp architects projects are characterized by basic shapes and distinct spatial relationships. With a double-story high elevation element in front of the architectural facade, Wanxiang Plaza at Riverside Pudong redefines the skyline of Lujiazui. Keeping in mind a fair balance of materials and shapes, the lighting scheme applies different luminous colors. Cool white lighting in the main tower and warm white lighting in the entrance emphasize the intersection of the two volumes. A metal mesh in front of each glass window is elegantly lit to represent yet another kind of lighting contrast on a smaller scale.
