Sitting on the north shore of Qiandao Lake the Ahn Luh resort is composed of 84 villas. The architectural design is inspired by Mr. Wu Guanzhong's ink paintings. White walls and blue tiles are used and reinterpreted in modern approaches. The entrance is planned in accordance with Chinese architectural layouts. The round window of Suzhou gardens sorts out clearly different areas and functions. Lighting follows the symmetrical site plan and carefully deals with the relation of front and back, inside and outside. Through concealment and revelations, one comes to understand the sophisticated traditional Chinese garden's pursuit of "experience the infinite within the finite".
