Blossom Hill Inn Zhouzhuang Seasonland used to be a renovated historic building with more than 100-year history in Zhouzhuang’s Ancient Town. Now modern comfort and historic culture are combined in this hotel in order to create a resting place for body and soul. Warm and bright indoor lighting goes through the windows shedding lighting the outdoor scenery. The boundary between indoor space and outdoor space can be either clear or vague through light and shadow play. People also become part of the scenery while enjoying the beauty and quietness of the hotel. The interior space combines a modern design with a historical atmosphere. The lighting design creates a warm and relaxing space in a traditional style; its modern luminaires are elaborately hidden. As the client’s request, LED luminaires were used for a modern and sustainable lighting solution.
